I've been a journalist for 15 years, beginning my career at newspapers, working on the metro desk of three dailies. Since I've gone solo, I've primarily focused on magazine writing.
My work has been published in nearly three dozen magazines and counting: inflights, consumer health, parenting, business trades and teen publications.
I most frequently report on medical and business issues, although I do range into related areas -- science, psychology and human-interest stories. I

particularly enjoy powerful
narratives, research-intensive articles and really any assignment that can surprise the reader with style and substance.
I grew up on the East Coast, with numerous stops since: South Texas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and even a stint in Madrid on a journalism Fulbright. I've settled in Fort Worth, where I live in a 1916 Craftsman bungalow with my husband, young son, and two rambunctious cats. Feel free to contact me.
